The Taba border crossing is an international border between Eilat in Israel, and Taba in Egypt. This border crossing is located in the most southern point of Eilat's southern coastline, between the red sea and Eilat Mountains, about 10 km south of the city center. All travelers passing from Israel to Egypt must pay a border-crossing fee of 106 shekels (about 25$). You can reach the Taba crossing by taxis or private cars (via route 90), or by using the Egged urban bus lines number 15 and 16. The Israeli Terminal has a main traveler's hall, open 24/7, as well as Drive-Inn stations, Tax free Shopping, currency exchange service and a cafeteria.
