Ben Gurion University, campus Eilat

Ben-Gurion University opened its first year in Eilat campus in 2002 / 3 with about 200 students. Eilat campus has the largest percentage growth recorded in the country and in 2009 opened with 700 students in 16 different classes offered by the university. About 25% of students are residents of the city so you can see the campus and the special atmosphere which attracts many foreign residents to come and expand academic horizons in Eilat. Eilat campus curricula are completely identical to those on campus Be'er Sheva and much of the professors here in Eilat are lecturers who come from Beersheba to teach here at the same time.
