AKim Eilat provides a warm home for those with mental retardation and their families. Akim's Eilat branch was established in 1979 to provide service and support for the handcicapped and their families. At the Eilat branch of Akim there is housing as well as meetings for parents (held as needed). IN addition, Akim Eilat enjoys special benefits like concerts and dinners at Rimonim Eilat. Akim was established to promote and improve the quality of life for those with mental handicaps and has done so since 1951.
